Most improvement systems become less useful at roughly the point where the vocabulary becomes impressive.
The loop I trust is smaller:
See what happened. Decide what matters. Change one thing. Check whether it helped. Repeat.
The difficult part is not understanding it. The difficult part is protecting it from committees, dashboards and the desire to launch twelve corrective actions at once.
Simple does not mean easy. It means there is nowhere for confusion to hide.
Pressure changes shape. The work remains.
