Being available is one of those virtues that can quietly become infrastructure.
You answer quickly. People learn. Then they stop asking whether the issue belongs to you and start asking whether you have seen the message.
Eventually your responsiveness is treated as capacity. Your evenings become contingency planning. Your phone becomes a governance model.
Availability is useful. Permanent availability is simply an organisation renting your nervous system for free.
Pressure changes shape. The work remains.
